Last full week of year 2!

Summer Week 6

On Monday we went to Bewilderwood and we loved it! Once we arrived we went on the boat and listened to the story. Some of us did a very load scream including Mrs Baker when Mildred the Crocodile made us jump by sneezing! We spent the day exploring, climbing and having fun. All I can say is Green class are all very brave and dared the big slides and climbed the highest equipment! They are also amazing problem solvers and managed to get out of the Muddle Maze and Sky Maze.

Some of us even got our faces painted :)

We have also been practising lots for our performance on Wednesday. Please do come along to our show on Wednesday morning 9am :)

We have also been doing some additional work on transition and change in PSHE. We have also talked about the names of our body parts this week.

I am sure you will agree Green class did really well reading their favourite memories at church today. Thank you to everyone that came!

I would like to thank everyone for being so amazing the last few weeks. I am very aware it has been a very busy one for parents/carers too with all the extra stuff that has been happening- thank you all so much for your support :)

Week 5 Summer 2

 Week 5 Summer 2

Green class will be tired tonight! What a super sports day! Green class you did us proud today! It was amazing to see you all showing your skills in football, hockey, rolling and getting wet in the over under relay! We thank you all for your help with the younger children. You also were amazing in the races and were so quick! Well done everyone! Thank you to all the adults that joined us today for the picnic and for all of the cheering during the events It really was so lovely for the children and they loved it!

We have been problem solving in Maths this week. Green class have investigated odd and even numbers and have thought about making generalisations and been finding ways to prove or disprove a mathematical statement.

Green class have also planned their own stories this week and will be writing these next week.

Please remember to sign up for a space for The Greatest Showman if you would like to come and see your child perform. They have worked extremely hard on their performance this week and it is starting to look great!

This week we have been looking at our bodies and understanding that we are the boss of our bodies. We have looked at safe touches, unwanted touches and unsafe touches an how to deal with each situation.

Green class as always have been a delight to teach this week!
Next week transition day to Stalham Academy, disco and sleepover.
