Autumn 2 Week 6

We all hope you are looking forward to coming to our Nativity performance this week. We have been working super hard on it this week!

We enjoyed walking to Stalham church to look at the Christmas tree festival! There were some very imaginative trees there! Thank you to all of the parent helpers that helped :)

We have been writing diaries this week about Neil Armstrong and then we did some drama and pretended we were astronauts and we went to space :) We have done some amazing writing! You are more then welcome to read the diary entries in drop and read :)

We have made christingles this week and and enjoyed our Christingle service. Thank you to Lily, Tommy, Matilda and Abigail who helped with the service by making a reading.

We have been looking at division by grouping and sharing this week too.

Change of date: We will be watching Matilda this coming week instead. Any questions or if you are unhappy for your child to watch a PG please speak to myself or Mrs Bales.

We have been doing headings and writing our own non-fiction book on space this week. The children's books are looking great!
We grouped facts and decided on the heading.

We have been looking at division by grouping this week. We set up a sweet shop and had to pack in packets of 4. We designed our own packets thinking about price and weight. We could all solve the missing number sentence!

We have also been thinking about properties of materials. We have thought about how to test if something is waterproof, transparent or rigid. We have designed our own experiments and will be testing them this week.

Last full week of year 2!

Summer Week 6 On Monday we went to Bewilderwood and we loved it! Once we arrived we went on the boat and listened to the story. Some of...
